It’s been four weeks since my facial-reconstruction surgery and today I finally had the wires removed from my jaw. I didn’t actually break my jaw, but it needed to stay put while the rest of my face healed. I should start gaining weight again which would be nice as I have lost nearly thirty pounds. 
I touched my nose today with my left hand I call this a small victory. The superman sticker is courtesy of my kind friends Laura and Andy.

Ahh, now we can start smuggling good food into your room and beef you up! (of course, once your infection is taken care of) I'm sure Meg will be making some extra portions for you in the future!
