They Come in Waves

Since Andrew’s “tip-over” we’ve had a steady flow of family members making the trip from Canada to offer their support. Instead of coming to California all at once, which would’ve been overwhelming, family members have been coming in weekly shifts. This week was my dad’s turn and as you can see hospital duty can be rather tiring. Next week will be Andrew’s niece and the week after that a childhood friend of mine will be in town to lend a hand. — deb
