Clear the roads!
We finally sorted out all the details for a car, I got a Scion xB - the toaster truck, as Debbie calls it. It had to get modified with hand controls, and we picked it up on Friday. Well, Eric drove it back to the apartment as I don't have my license to drive it yet. You have to be licensed to drive a car using hand controls, so the first time I drive it for real will be when I take the license test. Yikes!

YE-HAW, Get out the Bedazler EMoney, that interior needs some SPARKLE!
ReplyDeleteI think you have to disable the traction control to do smoky burnouts.
ReplyDeleteSurely you could find a trackday to practice driving that bento box around before the test?
ReplyDeleteI bet you'll be doing stoppies in no time. Cool ride.
ReplyDeleteDid you make it home without a stop at the In and Out drive thru?!

1st) It will not spin the tires on dirt, so much for smokey burnouts.
ReplyDelete2nd) The brakes are not strong enough skid, so much for stoppies.
3rd) In & Out rocks!
Toaster Truck huh? Cute Deb!
Andrew when your driving with the DMV tester in the car remember, pay attention, do not drive in the extreme left of your lane! ;-)
