Back in the saddle
I'm up! Today went really well for pretty much everything. I had a shower, dress myself (mostly), and got in my chair for the first time in a few days. I was able to roll around okay and do pressure reliefs, and stayed up for the whole day of therapy - stretching, a stint on the stationary hand cycle, some arm stretching and sitting balance. My elbow is working great so far, with less pain and more movement than I had before the surgery already. It's a lot easier on my mind to know things will just get better from here rather than the other way around.

...that's wonderful news, Andrew - we're so glad to hear it!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work.
BTW - Does this mean that we can timeshare the moniker "elbowz" between yourself and Ben Spies?

That's awesome that the elbow is starting to feel better! I know that was a big road block on your way to recovery, and it's good to know you're starting to get past it. Keep up the hard work, Andrew, you're almost out of there!
