Today started out fine, with stretching, some time on the stationary arm bike and a bit of work on my elbow. This afternoon the elbow got a real good stretch and therapy ended with some sitting balance. My elbow is definitely loosening up, with a bit more motion than yesterday and a bit more strength.

Then the CPM (Continuous Passive Motion) machine showed up. This works my elbow back and forth non-stop at a slow pace, removing scar tissue and extending the range. Problem is, I'm supposed to sit there for four hours a day! That eats up every minute of free time in the day, and then some, so hopefully I can swap an hour of therapy for an our on the CPM machine. If it helps get me my elbow back, I'll sit there as long as it takes.

  1. What a contraption!

You are starting to look like a zen monk.

  2. Dunno about the whole 'zen monk' thing, I was thinking more like Jedi Master...

  3. Think on it as a "just one day more" basis, Just one day more. Time will pass through and youll get your elbow back in shape.Hard work rewards the courageous ones.
BTW yes I agree you are starting to look like Jedi Mastre ;-)

  4. Hi Debbie and Andrew
I just wanted to stop by and say hi. We really miss you here at the old apt. It is not the same without you guys. It is nice to see the pictures of you at home. I hope you get to go home for good soon. Take care and stay strong.

    Your friends at Quinn Manor
