Griffith Observatory
Andrew and our nephew (from Canada) Tyler at the Observatory.
Our trip yesterday was a lot of fun and it was great to get out for a bit. We were worried at first as it seemed that all the wheelchair entries were locked, but it turned out we were early and the Observatory hadn't even opened yet! It took forever to find the one wheelchair accessible bathroom as well, and of course it ended up being as far away as it could be. Luckily, there were ramps and elevators everywhere, and it was easy to get around.

...sounds fun, Andrew - I always enjoy visiting Griffith Park when I'm in the area.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, we used to see the Laserium shows there. I understand they just re-located the Laserium stuff to Hollywood proper. It would be cool to check out the new location sometime and re-live the glory days of Dark Side of the Moon!
;-)
Anyway, I hope this week goes great for you, and that you keep making progress and settling in.
All the best,
-Pawlie.

That, AT, is where El Jefe learned to ride. We used to meet up on the road to the Observatory every Sunday. Although the actual road (Mt. Hollywood Dr.) has been closed to traffic for decades, unfortunately.
