A Big Day

12_21_9
Today I had my workplace evaluation; a lady from the insurance company came to the office and checked everything out to make sure it was okay for me, and everything looked fine. It's a one-story building with nice parking, a big shop and I have an open corner workstation with plenty of room.

Eric took me in the toaster truck, and we stopped at a big parking lot and I drove the Scion for the first time. That all went fine, although with my cushion on the seat my legs hit the steering wheel a bit; I'll have to get a lower cushion, raise the steering wheel (not an easy job with the hand controls mounted to it) or lower the seat.

And finally, the doctor gave me a note to go back to work and I'll have my first day on the 28th. Just three days a week and half-days to start for at least a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to that, although it will be a busy week as I have two days of therapy as well.
