We Can Rebuild

The day Andrew shaved his beard off was a day I had been waiting for since his facial reconstruction surgery. For those of you that don’t know, Andrew suffered significant facial trauma from the accident and surgeons worked ten and half hours to put the puzzle back together. Although he was never unrecognizable to me he did take a heavy hit on the rights side of his face and I’ve been curious to see the work of modern medicine now that the beard and the swelling are history.

2_23_dSweet face before the accident.

2_23_bSide by side comparison. (bigger version here)

2_23_cAfter surgery albeit about twenty pounds lighter. Looking good!

  13. Not that you were ever a member of the Asian society, but you're definitely more of a "round eye" now!

'bout time you uprooted that face garden!

  16. So the squint is gone, only to be replaced by a receding hairline. Guess you can't have it all.

And just when I was starting to get used to the TreV the lumberjack...

  17. That is an awesome side by side. I'm impressed with your surgeons! Kent's right about your eyes. That's the most noticable thing. Great to see through the fluff and always encouraging to see what you're doing!
