A walk (well...roll) in the park

Learning my lesson from last week, when I was asked this morning if I preferred therapy or an outing to another local park, I chose the park. We spent the morning at English Springs Park in Chino Hills. The park has ducks, geese, big fish and turtles in a nice pond. There's a concrete walkway all the way around the pond, and I got a good workout as it was quite hilly. It was great to get out to a place like that, and it topped off what turned out to be a great week for new things.

  1. They're going to get wise to your choice, you do know that, right? The next time you say "park", they're going to pick another one with even more hills. Or maybe they'll throw a indoor plants and astroturf into the gym and say, "OK, there's your park. Get to work!" Or they'll roll you up in front of an exercise machine and tell you, "OK, you're 'parked'. Get to work."

Glad you had a good week!

  2. Good decision. Fresh air trumps all other options.
