Buzzzzzz

After the usual truncated therapy day (just stretching and the fitness center), Debbie and I went into Claremont for lunch. We stopped at the barbershop and I got my hair cut as well, and then we drove over to the Montclair Plaza to visit the bookstore and have a coffee. It was a nice afternoon, and the car transfers are getting a lot better with each one - partly because my arm is getting stronger and partly because we're gradually figuring out the best way to do them.

In preparation for an overnight stay, the last couple of nights I've gotten myself into bed. I've known I can do it for a while, but I'm usually too worn out at the end of the day to bother and get someone to help me out. The first try went surprisingly smoothly, and I got into bed, undressed, my moon boots on, the pillows arranged and the covers up with no trouble. A small detail, but another step closer to independence.

  1. ...looking good, Andrew!

I like buzz cuts in the summer - it provides plenty of air cooling for the ole noggin - in the spirit of efficient power dissipation, and all that!
