Abilities expo

It's been forever since my last post, but it's not for lack of things happening. Between doctors' appointments and work I've been quite busy in the last couple of weeks. Today we went to the Abilites Expo, which is a trade show for all kinds of things associated with having disabilities. We went specifically to see about handcycles and a couple of therapy items that I still need, and it was a productive trip - although I didn't see as many handcycles as I would have liked to.

The expo was in the L.A. Convention Center downtown, and it was quite ironic that the show was on the second floor and there was only one elevator. Needless to say, there was quite a line to go up or down. I got frustrated after just a few minutes wait and we went up the escalator. Woohoo!

  1. You just wait till your Mom reads this! I hope those two security guards in the background had a talk with you young man.

  2. Yeah!!!!!! Thats my boy!!!! Tre'v makes his own path!! Aint got time to wait for the Moo Crowd!! I think we can make a handcycle!! I have a mean Sawsall!!! lol!!

  3. Thanks marty , you said it for me!! Some kids never learn.

  4. Marty it was an "abilities expo", yer kid brother was demonstrating his ABILITIES!
I mean how many para's have you seen successfully navigate an escalator!!!!!!!

    You GO Trevvy!

  5. I know, Iknow, I was just preparing Mom for the bungee jumping and sky diving.

  6. I can see it now-
Andrew in the bungee harness at the top of the tower, all that'd be needed is a quick shove...

I'm sure there would be a resounding response to a reader raffle for the honor of pushing off the precipice!~?
