A promising development in research

Yesterday there was an interesting story in the paper about a paraplegic man that can take some steps on a treadmill and regained some other movements. This was accomplished through the use of electrical stimulation directly on the spinal cord over an extended period of time, along with intensive therapy. Read more about it at the Los Angeles Times or the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
